I'm thinking about enjoying this wonderful day by making a run around Grapevine Lake. Maybe finding a route for a future GTG/cruise.

Anyone interested in joining?

 

Unfortunately we already have plans. A route for a cruise around Lake Grapevine does sound like a great idea for a GTG though. Hope you can map something out!

 

It is Fathers Day!!!! And a Happy Fathers Day to all you Daddys out there!!!!

I figured there would be alot of you busy with the days events... My kids left with their Dad at 3am this morning to New Mexico for a week.... So I have time on my hands... lol

Well, I found a few roads at the lake that were nice twist and turns but not many. This seems to be a lake that is covered with houses and boat ramps. And where there are boat ramps, there are trucks with trailers.

Now if you all from the Dallas area don't mind coming a little further West, I think Lake Worth would be a better cruise. I know some great roads that would be fun to drive there and we could also check out my castle....

Well, it should be mine... when Fort Worth put it up for sale I tried to pull together a plan to buy it and open it as a B&B, but someone else got to it first....

 

That sounds like fun Char. Years ago, I used to go sailing out on Eagle Mountain Lake. That's a cool area too. I wonder if there are any roads out there that would be fun to drive in addition to Lake Worth?
