Now that Dave has gotten the official word from Adam, I figured we should start a new thread for the GTG.

The Houston area crossfires will be meeting at the new Eurocharged shop in Houston for our May GTG.

Who: Houston Crossfires & Friends
What: May 2012 Houston GTG
When: 26th May, 2012 @ 9:00am
Where: Eurocharged Houston
221 Baker Road
Houston, TX 77094

The current plan is to meet at the new Eurocharged shop. We will hang out for a bit and wait for everyone to roll in. Afterwards we will roll out as a group to a local bar & grill called the Thirsty Parrot for some lunch and more time to hang out around 11:00am

After lunch we will head back to the Eurocharged shop for anyone who wants to get a tune or get on the dyno, if it is available.

If you are wanting to get a tune or any work done during that day please get in touch with Adam (e-mail: Adam@Eurocharged.com) at Eurocharged and you can coordinate with him what work you want done.

If you are planning on joining us for the get together, please post up here and we will get a list going.

I was going to try and get my buddy to bring his base coupe out just to bump the numbers...but I forget he is leaving for Eastern Europe and Thailand for a month...the day before.


...maybe I will have to borrow his car and have someone else drive it over there.

If you feel sorry for yours, then you would really feel sorry for mine...I usually keep a spare set around the house, just so the tires on my car can make peace with their demise in a short period of time.

Alright, we are one month away!! I am counting the days to get the tune and hang out with everyone and talk cars.

FYI...I will have a few new items for you guys to check out. I am completing the install on the painted valve covers from NW, painting a few other things under the hood, and just had the headliner replaced with a dark gray suede which matches the seats very well.

I leave for Texas tomorrow. Will be there this weekend, though not sure if I will make it for the EC open house.

I have a few fun new parts on the car I will definitely be showing off.

Also, it looks like the TX guys will get to see Bryan's (ImportLabSRT) turbo SRT6, as he has sent down to Houston for Jerry to do the tuning. That will be a sight to see. Also, last time I talked to Jerry there was a '54 Buick with a 55k motor in it that Jerry was tuning. Wonder if that will still be there...

The Eurocharged open house was this past Sat. Had some great BBQ.
A lot of great cars but only my XF and the one in for tuning were there.

Lets all show up for this GTG at Eurocharged new location ( 221 Baker St off I-10) Please let's get a defined time to arrive and as I understand we are going to the "Thirsty Parrot" for lunch, we need to define that time as well and make sure the Jerry and Adam are all aware of the timing as well as our own group. I think we could get Jerry to do breakfast for us if we want to arrive early. The guest we have that is driving in is going to arrive about 11AM the last I heard and I think he is getting a tune as well. We may want to let the "Thirsty Parrot know about what time we will show up.

Any comments or clarifications are appreciated.

Getting new tires today or tomorrow ( going with the Generals)

Hope you can make the 26th GTG.
An y chance of making the Cars & Coffee on 5/5/2012. We are meeting early (6:45 AM) because it is totally full by 7:30AM, opens at 8AM.

Welcome, and I look forward to seeing you on the 26th. Be aware, you might want to bring some blinders as if you look too much at some of our cars, you will start spending lots of money. Not that it is a bad thing or anything.

Also, I may be bringing a second crossfire with me to the GTG to get a tune...it belongs to a close friend of mine, but he will be out of the country during so I may convince my dad to drive it out.

Do we have a meeting time at Eurocharged? Want to make sure they know what is going on with us. What time will we leave for "The Thirsty Parrot" for lunch? How many of you are getting tunes done?
We need to make sure we leave enough time for Jerry and Adam to do them.

I agree dtinker. I have my tune scheduled for that Friday, the 25th, while others may be trying to do something Saturday when we get together.

I think the plan is to meet at EC at 11am, go eat at the Thirsty Parrot, then come back to the shop for tune's to be done, right? It depends if everyone is trying to do tunes before or after lunch? If before lunch, do we need to meet up earlier that morning to allow enough time? I realize this may confusing things even more and not helping at all.;)

dtinker - either you or ZAHANMA got the green light from Jerry already, right?

Dementors gets in around 11AM and has a tune scheduled. I haved asked jerry if he can do breakfast for us and we meetup around 9 am or so at 221 Baker St. off I-10, new shop. After the tunes are done we would go to " The Thirsty Parrot" in Waller area for lunch. We can return to Eurocharged after lunch and do any other tunes that need to be done. I am waiting on a response from Jerry, but should know a little later today. In any case we are on for a meeting GTG at Eurocharged on the 26th, just need to finalize details, hopefully today. Need a good head count as to who is coming, if Eurocharged does breakfast for us. Let me know thoughts.
