Default My beloved Crossfire Destroyed

After 2 1/2 years with my Alabaster Roadster, I purchased a SRT6 and sold my Alabaster Roadster due to lack of use, and wanting some-one else to enjoy it. Sold it to another Forum Member (Toothpick) about 9 months ago, and met up with my old love (The Crossfire) at the TMS in May. I have just been told that during a home burglary, the keys for the car were found, and car was stolen, and later found burned out. That really got to me, as "Toothpick" was really looking after that car, and I appreciated that, as we had many fun times with it, and the car was well known at the TMS meets. R.I.P Alabaster Roadster.

Very saddened to hear of this.
I had the privilege to ride in this beauty when Terry picked me up at the Dallas airport for the TMS gtg a few years ago.
I also saw it again just this past spring at the recent TMS gtg.

A sad ending to a beautiful little car.
Such a waste to think it ended in this way

TMS 5/19/12

TMS 9/11/10

Terry & Toothpick, the loss sickens me. That alabaster roadster was a beauty. Who could do such a thing!

Terry and Toothpick + all Crossie Owners, it won't bring her back, but I hope they catch the worthless turds that did this.Sounds like some young ones close to home. Keep on it

Sorry to hear that news. Most of us probably value our babies more than the insurance companies. I would be interested what burned out means. Also does insurance come close to a replacement.

Hope toothpick can find another soon. There is a red Limited 2008 in the Houston Chronicle this morning does not give mileage or if coupe or Roadster. 18,995.00 I can call if toothpick is interested maybe take a quick look at it.

TerryR and Toothpick,

What a waste of a pretty little car. I helped Terry work on it once and know how much he love it. I hope both of you will not dwell on the sadness of it being destroyed, but of the great feeling you had everytime you looked at it or drove it. Such a waste.
