What happened?
What Facebook page is it you guys are referring to?
I have to say I have come to love this forum ever since I found about it a couple of days after I purchased my Crossfire. I am still as excited about the car as on day one and it puts a smile on my face every morning when I wake up and look down on it in the parking lot.
I try to keep it in as best of shape as only possible and have earned many compliments on my detailing efforts, which are mainly due to all the quality information I have found on here and the numerous nights I spent reading through old threads!
I hope this community is not starting to fall apart and I have to say I have been so positively surprised by how close members of this car are and how ready everyone on this forum is to help out others. I'm proud to be a Crossfire owner and will continue to be excited about everything I read on here and every time I enter this vehicle and turn my key in the ignition
Thanks to everyone for making this such a positive experience all around!

Think it's more "nothing new and exciting" going on more than anything. You can only tear a car apart and put it back together so many times before you need something else to discuss.. LOL.
I believe many come to the forum, use the search engine, find a solution and have no need to post. I have on many a day done just that. Sarcasms by some turns many people off.
CICCI is one of the friendliest groups of people the wife and I have meet, perhaps because we meet for short periods of time at the GTG and we all are their to enjoy the time together. The GTGs are enjoyed by many. Thank you to all the officers and members who make that happen! The small nominal membership fee is worth every penny.

Every regional group seems to have their own page too, so all you have to do is type a few words and....viola! You've found owners in your area you didn't know were there.

The posts there are lightweight, like helium.
Typical post " I've changed the air in my tires, what do you think?"
I can live for years without having the urge to text someone that I have just seen blah blah blah........
I also hate to be forced to listen to people on their phone talk about the most inane subjects while walking around a supermarket etc. My buddy has a little gadget that interferes with cell phone signals, he loves to hear "Can you hear me, are you there?" Lots of fun, gotta get me one of them.
Plus one on that.

Okay in reality.. you just pick which conversations you want to be a part of.. simple.. Hey.. almost like in here..
I think we do get away with questioning ones heritage here more than you can over there though.. LOL
Freaking hilarious...and spot on!! Please feel free to stay away....far, far away as your negativity is neither desired nor welcomed.
Just lay the engine cover upside down on the bare concrete, that should do a world of good to the paint.
Didn't do any harm. Glad to see you can follow a link. Not that far a stretch considering your only worthwhile contribution has been to copy and paste other people's work into a list of links....
Don't cha just love our family values here? But like MrMiata said, if someone wasn't ripping someone else, it would get pretty boring having to repeat every fix for all the newbies who haven't figured out the search button yet.
And the "two" going at it.. would probably sit down and share a beer at a get together and just laugh.. LOL
Gee, you don't think getting rid of the politics section that drove so many post, could have anything to do with this becoming a dead forum do you? NSFW This is what sorta happened here. LINK NSFW the word you are looking for is schadenfreude.

Sharing pictures is so much easier on facebook. Snap a picture of a problem or a part with your smartphone and post it with a question for all to see. Answers are quick and timely.
Comments have a short life though, and it is not searchable like the forum.

I've had my XFire since 08Jun13 and I love the car. I'm just an old guy, with a job, trying to keep up and support my last child through college. I have to say that I'm not one of the wealthier guys, but this Forum has saved me a ton. And as an old guy, it's nice to see that others have made the same mistakes, have the same problems, and, have solved them without going crazy. So I appreciate this Forum. Although I will probably join the other also. I've never looked at the FB one though. It's just good to know you're not alone. hahaha. Thanks and PLEASE keep this up.
