Well folks, it's official! The Quick Touch Top is officially now available for sale and I am now a vendor. The price for the module is $99.99 shipped to the lower 48 states. All modules include a 3-year limited warranty. I will be filling orders through the 22nd and then it's Dragon time. The dragon will be here in a few months. Price is $130 installed and I can generally get one done over the course of a beer or two. ;) Those that have been to the dragon and watched me put one in know what I mean and no, I'm not the one drinking when I'm working on your car. :D

got the switch module installed, seems to work well. No problems with install. Went easier that I expected, really like not having to hold the switch. Dave |

Is anyone else having any issues with their top beeping as if it is open even when it is properly put up? I am not sure if it has to do with the one touch button that I have installed on my car. The one touch button works perfectly sometimes and the top does not cause beeping, but then other times it will beep all the the time even when the top is in the full upright position and the latch is locked down properly. Sometimes I can get the beeping to stop for a while if I drop the top (assuming the button will respond at that time).
I may just take the console apart and see if there are any shorts that have occured over time since it worked fine for about a year. Any Advice? Thx. |
Top Beeping even when up....
I see noone ever responded to this message. I guess I am the only one that had this problem. lol
I went in to the dealer and had them change out the sensor shortyly after I posted that last message. The sensor is located in the top on the right side next to where the passenger's head would be in the folding frame. This fixed the issue for a while, but now it is back. Any time I hit a bump it triggers the beeping again and it lasts for quite a while but then stops for no reason. Then when I slow down under 10 MPH it starts up again. Quite annoying to say the least. I am just glad that my radio is able to go louder than the beeping. :) I am going to take it back into the dealer, but I still can't help wondering if there is some kind of conflct going on with the one touch switch. Anyone else had this issue with their top beeping? Thanks, Xfire |

I am also interested in this part. I just rebuilt the whole covertible top with rebuilt hydraulic cylinders and would love to just hit the button once like God intended.
