Default correct tire pressure

Car has 32 lbs front and 33lbs back on inside of door. My four tires say 50lbs which is correct?
Tires are KUMHO1 ECSTA 4X 225/40ZR18 92W on the front and DUNLOP SP Sport 255/35Z R19 96Y on the back.
Thank you for any feed back. Its a 2005 Convertible.

Get them tires down to within 2 lbs of the plate on the door! Your going to wear out the entire center of the tire with that pressure. Also, the ride must be pure hell to feel and also the excessive vehicle vibration when hitting bumps. Buy a tire pressure gauge, and use it!

Be careful with that 50 PSI.
That is the MAX pressure the tire is designed for.
I would go by the placard in the door at 32 front 33 rear.

Ok changing tire pressure. I always thought the car seemed stiff. I could feel every bump.

Thanks

That pressure says maximum pressure, which would not be good for you.

Doesn't the correct tire pressure depend partly on the type of tire installed? Does the 32/33 psi spec apply to all tires?

Many run 30 for better traction, many run 35 or more for better economy.
Depends on what you want. The recommended pressure is to ensure that the tread meets the road with the same force all the way across the face of the contact patch.
