Default Hissing sound from the front of the engine

Hi all,

2007, EGX roadster, manual tranny.

A kind of hissing sound is coming from the front of the engine. Probably one of the serpentine belt's pulley bearing.

But what is the best way to spot the right pulley? Recording its sound from mobile? Video?

Any hint appreciated.

3 feet of garden hose stuck in your ear and then you probe the noise source, works, old guy trick. Pass it on, Woody

Remove the belt, spin each pulley by hand to see if there is any noise or roughness.

Careful listening with a hose while the engine is running, could hurt a lot both physically and financially!

Thanks all for your replies. Actually, the best way should be the one from James1549.
I didn't check yet whether it's difficult to remove the belt, but I guess it's quite easy.

Actually, I ordered this tool which could of any use in the future:

Have you lost a cat lately?
Seriously though, have you found the problem?

@onehundred80

No even my dog

Too many cars to cope with, so not too much time. those days. I'll change the serpentine belt soon but I need first, after having changed boths CPSs, check for the RCM.
