Default Drive train vibration under strain

Does anyone know why my 2004 crossfire would be vibrating under strain. It doesn't vibrate after first and second gear but when I'm in first or second and I have anything above half throttle it vibrates like crazy then stops when I get to 3rd gear. The vibrations seem to be coming from the driveshaft and back but idk what it is. I read another thread saying that the flex joints might be cracked

If it is the center bearing hanger you might be able to see that the rubber is split and torn away from the metal hoop that contains it. That's how it looked on mine. I spotted it on mine
prior to it failing completely.

I assume your bearing HANGER was bad visually. The bearing itself might be ok. I suspect the rubber of the hanger would degrade before the bearing in most cases.

You will find that you can buy loose bearings, a separate hanger and an assembled hanger and bearing. I just posted about replacing just the hanger which I completed but it is a royal pain.
