current successful SKREEM replacement
current successful SKREEM replacement
On March 21 my 2007 black roadster with 25,000 miles wouldn't start. I went on this forum to read about the trouble shooting ideas and started by soldering the RCM. My car still wouldn't start. Symptoms were it would turn over twice then nothing on the 3rd try. I called Rob at NeedsWings on March 22 and ordered a SKREEM for $700 and sent VIN and registration information including a copy of my drivers licence. I waited until April 17 and when I called Rob again he said they had just received a shipment from Chrysler and that my SKREEM modual was being shipped and that I could track it. It arrived yesterday April 19 in Orange County California. I watched The Crossfire repairs from Paul video twice and removed the instrument cluster and replaced it this morning. The car started up and it runs great. I might send the old SKREEM modual to SOS to see if it could be used for a spare if it didn't burn up. So it looks like the whole process can take about a month unless Chrysler can speed up delivery of the SKREEM to NeedsWings. Thanks to Rob and the Forum.
