I just installed my illuminated sills and am having a problem. I am trying to wire to the yellow harness by the air bag switch but the colors are way off from the manual as well as other posts. From the sill, I have a solid brown and solid red wire. In the harness, I have a solid grey, Blue with white stripe, and yellow with blue stripe. I tried different combinations but can not get the sills to light up. Anyone have this experience? Anyone know the correct combination? Any help would be appreciated.

When or if you get your question answered, would you mind posting how you did the install? If you don't mind, I just ordered my sills and it would be great if they could be installed without additional out of pocket expense...though, I'm prepared to do so if it's complicated for my husband to figure out.

Who did you order your sills from? I got mine from a Detroit dealer.

Thanks for the link. The wiring instructions were completely different then the ones that came with the sills. I got it working properly - at least initially. It works at times then does not work at all. I checked all the connections and they seem to be pretty solid. Very strange. I also noticed that my yellow transformer gets pretty hot. Is it possible I have a bad transformer?
