Shift knob?
yep... remove the collar at the base (screws on)... then turn the **** to remove it.
the downside to the momo **** is... it sticks up higher than the factory **** (added 1" in height)... looks too aftermarket for my taste. i had one...
so...i then decided to purchase an 04' m/b slk automatic black leather shift ****. this **** is classy and looks as if it belong there imo. it also, fit as the crossfire stock **** does...height and all. see my gallery for more pics.
m/b part # A 170 267 10 10 9C05 (called a: handle)

I bought an aftermarket **** and ran into the same thing as Andrew. It sat much too high.
I went on eBay and did a search. Because I have an SRT I opted for one that had AMG on the top. But there are a lot to choose from and they are a direct replacement.

Can anyone tell from these pics, if I'm going to have the same problem as Andrew and SRT SIX? (Too Long?) It looks like the carbon fiber one is the right height?
Thanks.

Thanks.
