stock plug number??, colder plugs???
 

hey guys looking for the stock plug number before i go rip them out, i am gonna change to a colder plug i think due to nitrous and want to know which plugs to get, so any advice on which colder plug to go with will be great, spraying 75 wet shot, thanks

yeah i will look through just really didn't feel like looking through hundreds of threads, i am really just looking for someone who is spraying to let me know what plugs they switched to if they did at all, i am def. gonna because its better safe than sorry over a stupid thing like changing plugs so if anyone has helpful input please let me know.

Those are 2 good suggestions. If they don't pan out for you, you could just pull a plug and check it.

yeah i plan on going one colder before even spraying at all then checking but if i do get some input from someone already spraying saying they are on stock plugs with no problems maybe ill try them out few shots then pull em and check them., i just would rather change them to be on the safer side. it will really help prevent detonation

drop from the stock gap to 36 with a pulley and 34 if your spraying.....

THIS IS NOT from my experience its from my notes I took from reading posts here.

Oh yeah and 1 size colder.

i am na, so no pulley, but with spray you are saying what about a gap, and you are saying on stock plug?, sorru just confused please explain

hey man thanks but kinda lost on you r post as well, are you saying this is stock plugs just crossreferenced to different brands, like they are all the same plug just in different brands, but are all the stock plug?, or are these the ones i need to go to in going one size colder.

Stock plug if you mod you go down to 36 or 34
Also the same if you go down in one size colder from stock
I have lots of info I gleaned from here but the only consistent remark was stock plug gets gapped smaller the more mods you go!

Oh and by the way don't trust anyone to gap your plugs for you....they might say they did when they sold them to you but check them before install!

NGK Iridium IX 3764

They will work perfect for the car and are a step colder (although listed OEM).

I believe teh gap on them is 36, but check to make sure.

awesome thank you very much, saves me alot of trouble, so go with a ngk iridium 3764 and should i gap it to 34, how are the plugs getting out any tight ones to get to? also 12 of them to buy jesus

Ridiculously hard to get out the Driver's side. The wires are on very tight. Get a spark plug boot puller and that will help a little bit.

They run about 8.00 a piece.
If you're interested we can get you them for 90.00 Shipped.

ok i will look into a boot puller right now, i actually ordered the plugs off an ebay store last night, i do alot of business on ebay buying and selling, i got them for 75.00 shipped. thanks though.

If you're replacing the leads I wouldn't waste your money on a plug puller - they don't cost much anyway. If you do get one, get an offset/angled head.

hey that plug number is BKR6EIX-11 correct, and should i gap them to 34 or what do you think

hey tvt just a quick question is that plug definetly a BKR6EIX-11 or is it a BKR5EIX-11, you said that it was a 3764 and that would be one step colder than stock right. On your website you sell BKREIX5, so is that the same as stock or is that the one you were saying was colder. thank you
