Going with NOS...
Just got a few questons. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to monitor the nitrous system so that I may prevent detonation by running the system to lean if I was to loose traction and the traction control would kick in. I have a 05 6 speed coupe. I know this subject has been beaten up in the past, but I am running short on time until race day and need all the help I can get.......

I take corners on nitrous and have my kit for over 2 years. Don't stress about it. If you run into problems it will be a good excuse to buy an srt6 engine
.
again Inmotion has the ecu flash for nitrous, but usually you don't activate it under shifts or near redline, cause you don't want the fuel to get cut, while the nitrous is still in the cylinder.
you also have to buy 12 new sparkplugs that are a step colder.

So my guess would be that the ecu flash would be done because of a timing issue. Would the mercedes motor not compensate for the change in timing needed without the ecu flash. I will only be running a 50 shot.

Why do you keep asking about the computer "making adjustments for itself"? Of course it will, why would it not? But with wet nitrous you control the oxygen and fuel, who cares what the engine wants.
a 50 shot is a waste of time go for a 75 or 100 shot.
for the same money you will spend on a 50hp squirt you could purchase TVT 250 upgrade. and have the power instantly without worrying about burning holes in the pistons.

Um, let's not worry about what other people said. Go wet nitrous. Don't shoot it unless you're at WOT. Simple as that.
Oh, and psuperti is right. If you don't know what you're doing, prepare for engine blowing consequences.

a WOT/window switch
I have a brand new one I will sell for $150. I have decided to not run N20. I allso have I brand new dry kit I will probally sell for $350.
Also a wideband, colder plugs(have some brand new NGK's from LET to sell as well), and a fuel pressure switch if running a wet kit would be a good investment.

As for nitrous, a 50 shot would be fine. Just get the tune and the colder plugs. As long as you have a quality kit you will have no problems.

It really cracks me up when people have no idea that professional drag cars use auto trannys. No one can shift faster or more consistently than a auto transmission. It always seems that little honda civics, dodge neons and other kids always act like "fo' shizzle yo if youz aint gotz da manual tranny then you iz slo yo!" lol. Also, I have driven a 6spd crossfire and that manual transmission is NOTHING to be bragging about. It is not exactly a slick shifting race machine.
Anyway, yeah sure you have a hayabusa. Do you know how to ride it? They are slow anywhere but a straight line, that sort of defeats the entire point of a sport bike. Heck I would race you in the curves any day of the week with my 600cc sport bike and I would put up money I would beat you too. Oh well, enough of the childish "internet racing".
If you go with a zex kit they come with a WOT switch and are set up great to keep you from running lean/dangerous.
