Default Dead xfire

I have an '07 Roadster (manual) lease which I drove, parked for an hour, came back, started it up twice (died immediately both times). The third time the engine would not turn at all. The battery was perfectly fine but I had to get it towed to the nearest Chrysler Dealer. The car has been in the shop since September 18th now, under diagnostic tests, having new electrical parts put in, and still nothing. Now Chrysler wants a new computer system installed and it came in but that part was bad too! Now we're waiting for another one and it's not due in untill November 25!!! The part is a Power Control Module which apparently is going to take forever to come in because of the fact of Daimler and Chrysler no longer together and the fact it's a Mercedes part and whatnot. Anyone else ever have this problem with their car?

well i have an srt6 but my brother has an 04 limited coupe and he was at work and upon leaving he tried starting his car and the exact same problem happened with him and we had it towed to a dealership the next day and the dealership charged $100 dollars to find out the problem, they said it was the computer and the car needs a new one and the car has 39,000 miles on it but they covered it under warranty should be fixed soon and the car was taken in on monday

Ya I have a little over 23,000 miles on it and it is covered, I was just surprised to see a problem like this in a new car, especially a Mercedes built vehicle. I was wondering if it could have been an electrical problem with the clutch (like the computer is not registering it being pressed in to start the car) but the cars in the hands of the specialists so I guess I'm just going to have to wait this out. I just can't get over the fact that its estimated time in the shop is over 2 months total. Goodbye convertible season

This almost sounds like the "Mystery No-Start" issue. A quick fix may be to remove the "Relay Control Module" and re-solder all of the exposed contacts on the bottom. This HAS repaired some similar problems to yours.

Do a search for "Relay Control Module" and "Mystery No-Start" and start reading.

Thanks, I remember the dealer telling me one of the first trys at fixing it that the wire caps (or something similar) were bad and they had to re-solder all of them after the installed one of the first new parts, which could have been the relay control module but I don't remember exactly. But that still didn't solve it. Basically I'm just hoping this PCM will do the job and I can have it back on the road asap.
