Radio and nav install pictures

I have added some pics of the first crossfire we have worked on,,,came out great,,notice the camera's in the rear to deal with the blind spots the car has.

Very nice install. Did you install 2 cameras or just the one? Also was anything else done besides the camera/headunit/navigation/dvd?

biggjay 08-10-2003 10:33 PM

install

There were two cameras installed, which ever direction the turn signal is determines which camera is going,,we also did a undectable radar system by K40,,

So does the camera turn on automatically with the blinker?

biggjay 08-10-2003 11:03 PM

That is a sweet setup. Giving me ideas about once I get my Crossfire... :)

Very nice! The only thing that would keep me from going this route is that the unit is black--which does not go with the car at all. Does Alpine make a silver unit?

biggjay 08-11-2003 09:30 AM

I have A pioneer unit which matches better, but the alpine has the best picture on the market by far

Alpine actually has one of the poorest picture qualities. Pioneer and Clarion are by far the best. Most of the Alpine systems that I have seen usually have one or two pixles out witch becomes very annoying once you notice them. I will admit they have the best sound, but Pioneer is not far behind.

Parts list and cost?

Bigjay-
Can you give us a parts list and an approximate cost for the install?
Thanks!
