Power seats not working?

Do the power seats only work when you are parked and your door or doors are open? Also does the horn not work when you are in park? This is the only way mine work, and I think there is something wrong. The dealer seems to think the power seat issue is a safety precaution (although he thought the seats should work at speeds under 10 mph) and the way the car is supposed to be.

I can move my seats with the engine off, keys out and doors shut or open. I can also move them when driving down the motorway at speeds of 70MPh.

Annette,

My passenger seat electrics do not work at all. It's going into the dealer tomorrow, I'll let you know what the fix is.

Regards,
Brett

Annette,

Got my seat fixed yesterday. It was a problem with the pins in the connection under the seat. Sounded like an easy fix once they managed to get the seat up and out of the way (difficul without power it seams).

Brett,

Thanks, I'll let them know what the problem could be, so they can check that first.
