Crossfire replated transmission problems of Chrysler in general?
Its difficult to explain how fewer Chryslers there are in AUS. I have no idea what its like over there in the US but the only relitively well selling Chrysler here is the 300c which anyone i know that has one is forever complaining about them. So when you talk about a "Common" problem or something its still something AUS xfire drivers are probably un aware of hence why help from accross the pond is so appreciated.

Not the crossfire.. it's Mercedes. My sister had bought a new van back late 80's (new) and at least it was under warranty, but had three transmissions put in within 5 years. Seems there tranny's have always been a downfall for them. Don't know for sure about now, they may have finally put some research into and fixed them.

Most transmissions are made just up the road from me. I know a lot of people that work there. Can't say it's their fault. Must be the engineering. Although we all do drink from time to time...lol Welcome downunder.... We will see if you keep this one more than 6 months, and you are on probation for that length of time....lol....
