Default iAudio 40Gb MP3 etc install...

Guys,

Just to finish off the AVIC X1 install, purchased this baby, its so small and perfect.

Installing the main drive in the glove box and the remote unit somewhere on the dash, maybe near the ashtray as we in the UK dont have the airbag switch.

That's pretty slick. Although I'm still a fan of my iPod.

However I have not been able to find a good mounting solution that works with the AVIC-N1: the screen hits the fixed metal mount that attached off of the glove box screw, and the cigarette lighter mount is too close to the shift ****.

Anyone have any ideas for me?

Thanks

Nope, auto...but the fact it rubs against the shifter really bugs me

oh I see, well I am going to mount mice in between the cig lighter and the ashtry, is only about 10mm thick, so it should be fine. Going to wire in the power etc into the glove box... guess my weekend it all booked up I guess.

Also just received my Eibach Pro springs to lower her by 30mm, just need to find someone who can install the kit.

I'll post pics once I have done the install
