Hey whats up.

I dont remember what % mine are. If you go to a good shop they can show you some different ones and make recommendations.

On white, I'd think just a light tint would look good, or even that blue tint like you see on some Benzes.

Mine is 35% which I believe is the legal limit for drivers' or Front windows in Florida. Got a little deeper on the hatch, but dont know what % it is.
I like the look, but I did it mainly to Block the sun. 8)

Anyone tinted their windows on a Graphite colour car? I am thinking about it but need to know rough costs and what it looks like first.

We had our windows tinted as soon as we got the car.

There are a couple of different pictures in my photo album that show the tinted windows.

I think tinted windows look great on the Graphite car - but then again, I think tinted windows look great on every color (especially in the desert).

my window tint is 50% llumar charcoal...not too dark but classy imo. i personally think 35% is too dark.

I checked my paperwork - it does not say what %. The only thing I know is that we got the darkest allowed by Nevada State Law. The back windows are darker than the driver and passenger side windows are.

Default Thanks

Thanks guys especially ANDREW. Gave me a few ideas, so I am either going 35% or 50%. Ill see how dark the place is I go to. THe blue is a good idea but to get it to look identical to the Mercedes tint is inpossible, I called 3 places and they said that they cant do it like the Mercedes, they can put blue tint they said but not like the benz one so i think that would look like a shity honda blue tint.

Anyone with a SSB have their windows tinted? If so, please post a pic along with the % if known.

This photo was taken on an overcast morning along the California coast. Depending on the light, the tint will look lighter or darker. I believe this photo gives a pretty good idea of what to expect. A little dark looking in, not too dark looking out. 35% tint. Then again different brands... different shades. Best bet is to visit a tint shop and compare their samples.

Something to consider... the darker the tint, the less outward visabilty at night. Our cars have enough restricted visability as it is, don't go too dark and make things any worse than they are.

Goodluck

I reposted. I think Club Photo does that ever so often for advertising even tho it is a subscription service. Hate that. Haven't found any other sites that allow linking.

That looks pretty nice, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay to get the tint job done? Also, is there anything special about the Crossfire that a tint shop would have to know about?

For the picture, have you tried using the gallery provided with this site?

Thanks.

Thanks. Tint was dealer installed, however I paid less than MSRP and don't even consider what the add-on sticker says. Most of our shops here in AZ charge around the $150 range to do a car. Just find a good shop, nothing different putting tint on the XF. I posted a couple in my album but I've posted too much to keep linking to the forum... ops:

I have an Alabaster with Llumar tint @ 35 and am very pleased with it. I get lots of compliments and I thing the darker tint looks especially good with the Alabaster. St. Louis.

keep in mind the darker your interior (mine is black) the darker the tint will look from the outside of the car. i paid $125. cash under the table to the owner of the tint shop.
