Maiden in distress AGAIN Zzzzzz
Hey guys.. new problem with my SRT6
Alternator failure
So its like this, suspect whirring on tickover, then battery light warning now shows. I have confirmed battery is good, and now a brand new alternator is on order.
Since this has happened, featured on the dash are two more icons that have lit up permanently. ABS, brake assist & airbag.
I need to drive this b*tch (sooo mad) to the garage for fixing, which is approx 6 miles away. Here is my question Is it safe to try to drive the car to Chrysler fixing place with all that stuff lit up like a Christmas tree? I appreciate that it might not make it with its remaining charge left, but is it too risky and will it damage car further?
Thank youuuuu!
P.s. when its fixed its going up for sale. Its bloody perfect in every other respect, got to be honest.just UK tax and running is too high for me clock: 38,500 miles

If you are sure the battery is good, then give it full charge with an external battery charger. Fully charged battery should be more than good to go 6 miles.

Yes the Battery is brand new. Thank you so much. I have an external battery charger. I will get to it and charge up battery in garage and then set about my journey and get this pain in the a$$ fixed!
