blower motor replacement
 
hello everyone, recently purchased a blower motor for an 07 xfire.(water leak damaged my old one)does anyone have instructions or directions on replacing and installing blower motor? it looks pretty simple, 4 screws mounted to the blower motor assembly,but i want to be sure before i start tearing it apart. thanx for yal help.:D i plan on cleaning my drain plugs out as well, thanx to the advice i have read on these threads.

Here is how to replace the resistor on the back of the motor. Maybe it is of help to you.

180's PDF pretty much covers getting to the motor, however, I would make sure I covered the passenger side floor with a paint drop cloth or some cardboard before proceeding. You will be surprised how much crap comes cascading out.

( also replace the filter while you are at it, if this is not a base model )

thanx for yal help and tips. i just installed my blower motor with no problem,( 4 screws). i also think i fixed my water leak problem by unclogging my3 drain holes located underneath the cowl. i just saved $750 plus the cost for someone to find a mysterious water leak.
