Please help i did a search and found people talking about it but no advice on how to do it!

I dont want to know about that, I want to know how to check the oil level from inside the car, not when I need to change it.

Actually, I think there is a way to check it from the guage console. I happened to see it pop-up on the trip-meter lcd panel when I was resetting the maintenance indicator after I changed my oil... Don't ask me how to do it again, but I did see it appear briefly with the icon of an oil can and the word HIGH.
I'll try to figure it out in the next few days and post the results...

Thanks hope you find out, if you read your manual it says you can,
turn on the key to run, wate till you see the oil can and clock and push the **** twice,
thats what the manual says but that dont work. other than saying hi or low it will tell you how much you are low, 1qt 2qt 3qt,.......(((((page 100))))) ---UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL---

Yeah I read that too. Pretty cool that you can do it like that, I would like to know how you do it too. Stuff like this is the rewards of reading your manual.
Let the car set for about 5 minutes after running. Turn the key to run, but don't start. Wait for the oil icon to appear, and then press the left **** twice. The oil level status should be displayed. It does work.
I don't know what someone would do without the owner's manual! They aren't the same generic car functions anymore like they used to be! But isn't technology wonderful?
Thanks for pointing this out guys! I think I skimmed over that part cause I don't remember seeing that! Same thing with the brake pad sensor! That's another great feature!
I guess I'll take the crossfire out to do the errands today so I can try it.
