Default Spark Plugs

Ok, my car is on 100k so wondering whether to change the spark plugs at next service. Car runs great by the way but not really sure when they were replaced if at all.

Went to local car shop today who reckons they need NGK 1FR6D-10 at $34 each making a grand total of $408 Aus or $379 US. Wow !!!

So put Spark Plugs in they search on this site and can't really find a thread on the best ones to fit. However I did come across these from the States NGK Iridium IX Spark Plug Set (1 heat range colder) Set of 12 - 3.2L Mercedes - bkr7eix-11 for $82 the full set of 12.

Does anyone know if these are ok and are they the ones that last for 100k. Thanks.

Yes, that bkr7eix-11 number means you found these on needswings.com
These are the ones most forum members ( including myself ) have used.
I would however recommend the plugs and magnecor wire set at $199

Why would you want one heat range colder ? I'd recommend the normal heat range set.

Great thanks, lets just hope their postage is not too silly to Oz.
