My turn..Mystery NO START
Earlier last week Ive noticed my fob wasnt consistently lock/unlocking my doors. I can manually open the doors using the key. I thought no problem..Ill buy batteries for it and this issue will be solved. No hurry. No worry. Drove the car all week. She ran like a top. Put her in the garage this weekend. Got up this morning, placed key in the ignition, turned and......nothing. No Clicks...No Humms...No dash lights...No head lights...No hazard lights. No electronics. I thought...dead battery? Battery is only a year old. Checked both terminals and they are tight and still look like new.
I thought that this may be a RCM issue but at least the electronics (dashlights, headlights) should work. Could it be as simple as a jump start...battery disconnect / reprogram key fob or am I missing something? What would cause the car to die like this or drain the battery (if its the battery)

I'm thinking the battery. Test it. I had to buy a charger for mine today. Mine was sitting in the garage with the hood open for about a month and no other electronics draining juice to my knowledge, but it was dead when I tried to start it. I wonder if there is something that continuously drains it slowly.

Check the battery cables again
Be sure they are REALLY TIGHT !!!!
Use a wrench and be sure
Mine had intermittent total power failure off and on for 6 months and it was as simple as a slightly loose battery clamp also with a battery only a few years old
Here is one post I made in the thread I had started 6 months previously..........
