Car won't start again!!! HELP PLEASE!!
I had my RCM a couple months ago repaired my tighed1 on this forum. His messages are full so it won't let me send him another message. Well now I think I have the same problem again :/ I went to go start my car and everything turns on but it tried to crank twice but no start and then every time after no crank. So I disconnected the battery and took the RCM out, examined it and it looks like there's some other solder points that may need to be soldered, not the original spot like on most of our cars. So I hooked everything back up and again tried to crank over twice but no start and then after two times just no crank at all :/ Any suggestions? Could it be some other solder points on the RCM need to be soldered? Or is this a whole new problem? Thanks for any advice - Tim OR If anybody knows how to get in touch with tighed1 let me know thanks

Programmed, etc! Tighed1 got in touch with me and believes it's that issue as well, so if anybody knows that information cool. Head kinda hurts right now from working all day and spending the last 2 hours reading multiple posts on the Skreem issue and not exactly getting a clear definitive answer on the exact part number, site to buy, whether it needs to be programmed, or if only the dealer can do this, and where exactly is it behind the instrument cluster haha Thanks for any information anybody - Tim |
Re: Car won't start again!!! HELP PLEASE!!
I would try a known good battery first, based on your last post.
Questionable batteries have caused lots of electrical gremlins based on the posts I have read. I believe SKREEM is dealer only. |

They asked Vin and Mileage then sent it.$145 Its the SIEMENS 1708201826 Plugged it in and car started. YEA. A Mercedes mechanic told me to turn to On then wait few seconds to program itself before engaging starter." The number he says is the Siemens number is actually the Mercedes part number, the Siemens number is 5WK4 8698. |
