Wipers won't stop

Hello to the forum. My name is Bourbonton, new to all this, not used forums so forgive any stupid questions.

I have a Crossfire 2005 Roadster, had it a couple of days and the wipers will not stop, unless ignition off, are they controlled by the body control module or is there an independant relay, if so where can I find it?. I have a digital full service manual but doesn't seem to show a relay but I see they are available for sale , confused
Grateful for all and any replies

Re: Wipers won't stop

The 15A fuse 32 in the underhood accy fuseblock should get them to shut down. Page 1786 is the diagram.

The 30A fuse 20 could be just the motor or the motor and other stuff, not sure.

The fix? Hmm... A multimeter testing the multifunction switch to see if it is bad.

Could the motor park switch be bad? Resulting in a no park sense condition.

Thanks for reply.
Where do I find the motor park switch ? The problem is erratic but only switches off 1 in 10. Have to switch off ignition at park and then all OK until needed again and then same problem

Re: Wipers won't stop

The motor park switch is inside the wiper motor itself ( at least on any car I have ever owned ).
You would have to take it apart and see what you could do. I have never taken one apart, so can't advise.

Re: Wipers won't stop

A multi-meter could test the park switch. C2 pin 40 of the Body Control Module would go to 12V every cycle of the wipers. If so, not the motor. I am suspecting the multifunction switch since that has been an issue way more often. C3 pin 63 & 65.

Right hand drive may have a slightly different pin number, gotta look for sure.

KDW4Him is right, I am wrong according to the schematic.
But the internal switch inside the wiper motor could still be the problem.
