Shuts down while driving, won't crank

2004 Crossfire, 6 speed manual transmission, shuts down while driving and won't crank for a while.
Replaced the crank shaft sensor. Still exhibiting the same symptoms. Lights, horn, radio and everything
electrical works fine. Will restart after 30 minutes to an hour . I notice that when I turn the key to crank,
I can hear the electrical system engage and the fuel pump engage. When it won't crank, you won't hear
any of that, the dashboard lights up but nothing.
