74mm mod

I'm changing to a 74mm mod, has anyone done that and added a spacer. If so is it worth it and what spacer thickness did you use. Not even sure if they make a spacer for the base, anyone know.

There is no room for a spacer on the NA models, the 90 deg elbow barely clears the firewall as it is.
