LED bulb question?

Are the only LED bulbs which must have a built-in Can Bus driver the parking lights, tail-lights, stop-lights and low-beam headlights? In other words the only bulbs which will trigger the LIGHT OUTAGE INDICATOR? For instance if I'm buying bright LED bulbs to put inside the trunk it's not something I need to worry about, right?

All exterior bulbs including the license plate lights will set the light out indicator,
interior bulbs will not.
