Won't Start
I went to put a new RCM in my Crossfire and the E Terminal wires separated from the clip. Does anyone have a color coded placement of the 5 wire back into the clip.

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ollection.html https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...113cc3ac38.jpg DO NOT pull on the wires, use a flat blade screwdriver to get the plug to start coming out of the RCM jack - than pull ONLY on the connector housing. Hi Pizzaguy, The wiring colors don't match the diagram, any suggestions. Richie |
Re: Won't Start
They mostly match the manual. Remember the car is over 15 years old, colors fade over time - Im partly color blind (I have issues with red and green) and I think I see all of them.
Haveon't you ever used "Process of elimination" to obtain an answer? You start with the obvious ones and choose from the less obvious for the remaining. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...f238a44052.jpg |
Re: Won't Start
4,5,6 are my problem. Any idea if I miss match them, will they short out anything. 4 and 6 are asking for the same color but I have 2 red and greens.

Re: Won't Start
Hey Pizzaguy, Through the process of elimination 4 and 6 were crossed. I turned the key and she up and running. Thank you again for all your help!
