M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
I have a couple of issues that I'm trying to fix on my new Crossfire 2004 two-door coupe the first one is where my seat sensors are solenoids are as both my driver and passenger seats do not work also my headlights on bright do not work and now all of a sudden out of nowhere my alarm internal alarm or whatever like the key dinging alarm is going off when I start driving but not when I stop can anybody help me with any of these I would appreciate it thank you

Re: M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
I'm trying to undertand your seat problem. I don't know anything about a seat solanoid but there is a seat relay behind the drivers side AC vent that goes bad that sends power to the seats. I just replaced mine. Your other issue I'm not sure what the problem your describing is.
Don't understand your description you posted. "my alarm internal alarm or whatever like the key dinging alarm is going off". I think a more technical problem description would help a lot! |
Re: M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
First for seats check the fuses under the hood if you have not already. Both of my seats stopped working at same time and I was prepared to dig into the car.
But fuse replacements fixed them both. Still don't know why both went at same time. Here is a link that should help you out. I also find it helpful to read the daily posts as a lot of the same problems keep popping up. When it becomes your problem, you will think back and remember someone else going through it and solving it. Jim https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...s-repairs.html |

Check that the tow alarm button is off. (See picture below). You can test the alarm siren by pulling fuse #9 in the under hood fuse box. Check your diagram to be sure that's the correct fuse. (2004 maybe different than my 2006). If it's the alarm siren, you can replace it or disconnect it. See my post here: LINK to Alarm Siren Removal/Replacement https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...c984a4262a.jpg |
Re: M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
Fuses for the headlights are at the left side of the dash. Open the driver’s door, open the compartment at the end of the dash. There should be a piece of paper there indicating which fuse does what.
Welcome to the forum. Familiarize yourself with all the info with the “stickies” at the top of each section and the “Index of Crossfire Problems and Repairs” It is in the TBS and How to Section |

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ollection.html As for beeping under the dash, have you tried plugging in the passenger seat? If could be the seat sensor is triggered even tho' nobody is there. |
Re: M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
The is a "Passenger On/Off Airbag Switch" on the right end of the dash. Try turning that switch to the off position and see if it makes a difference.

Does the seat belt light come on the dash when you are buckled up? Maybe you have a seat belt warning for the passenger side seat belt. Try buckling the passenger seat belt and see if it still beeps and if the seat belt light warning light is on the dash panel.

okay for the alarm system I don't know if it's actually the alarm I think it's whatever the beeping is when you leave your keys in the ignition that constant flow beep kind of high-pitched and it's from the top left corner of my Dash I can't see anything when I look under there but it will go off when I hit like 3 miles an hour roughly be continually until I come to a complete stop it does not beep when I go in reverse I did pull my center console and my everything that goes with it the heater knobs and assembly unit the all the buttons the one thing that I did that made me think it might be the real sensor is or something over there I jacked the car up to check my brakes spun the tire realized that they are sticking a little bit dropped it down fired it up and went to go get to the store to get brake cleaner and I noticed the beeping I've checked all my doors they were shut I'm not 100% sure on how to test if the switch is a bad somebody had mentioned that I appreciate your guys's patience and working with me as I know a bit about cars anything pre-computerized which is simple fuel spark air however these newer cars I never wanted to learn until a couple years ago kind of like the computers so I'd like to figure out the Forum I go familiarize myself with it man but I'm kind of learning both things on the Fly here thank you for your time guys you're awesome
I have a roadster and if the top sensors incorrectly trigger, I get the beeping noise you mentioned when the top sensors are not correct. It's a real pain. LOL So when you get the beeping look on your console and look for any blinking LEDs that might get us a clue. Have you bought a ODB2 Scanner? I don't think the brakes will cause the beeping. The brakes have speed sensors for ABS. So any speed sensor issues will show up as ESP/BAS light or an engine code. Checking the doors is a good idea, but it could be the hatchback too. Have you checked that? Keep on asking us question, we will continue to help. |

https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...efd7fe2b9b.jpg These are the lights that are on all the time when I drive so I don't know how to reset them or get them all off but so yeah the seatbelt thing is always been on even before the alarm started going off somebody mentioned wheel sensor or something like that possibly I'm thinking I need to check that I got sucked into the interior today and my radiator that just blew and my fan that s*** out on me I'm thinking it's because possibly the water pump doesn't work but it's not leaking but I'm not 100% |
Re: M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
Top light is the low engine oil level warning. Going down the second light is telling you there is a bad light bulb, usually in the rear tail lights. Third is the low hydraulic brake fluid. Bottom light is for seat belt not buckled for one of the occupants.
This sentence you wrote is very confusing and don't understand what your trying to say, "I'm thinking I need to check that I got sucked into the interior today and my radiator that just blew and my fan that s*** out on me I'm thinking it's because possibly the water pump doesn't work but it's not leaking but I'm not 100%" |
Re: M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
"As a suggestion," I'd take your car to a trusted repair garage and let them check the whole car over and let you know what it's problems are. An itemized list would be a great way for you to start fixing problems. It would be money well spent.
Many things can be wrong with the cooing system other than the water pump. For instance, low coolant, stuck thermostat, clogged radiator, radiator cooling fans not working, bad head gasket to name a few. Where do you live? Probably a fellow Crossfire owner is in your area that could help you! Most of us work on our own cars. |
Re: M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
That engine oil light also comes on if the oil is overfilled.

Re: M I'd appreciate it if I could get some help with feedback
I would advise hooking up a scanner to your car and seeing what codes pop up.
Then you have a place to start from. |

I got some words and advice for you. Slow down while communicating your thoughts. I had a hard time parsing what your wrote. If you are writing on a cell phone, they are terrible for writing. You can just put a thought on a line or throw in some punctuation.
