Default A Great DIY Site with Pictures!!!

I did a search and found that no one has posted this site here before... so here it is:
http://www.buellwinkle.com/r170/

It's by one of the members of MBworld.org and it's all about the R170 SLK.

And another link from huudoo:
The crossfire repair manual

That is a good find Jason, I too think a sticky should be in order. I know I'll be looking for it again.

In the section of that site pertaining to the climate control, it says the following,
"The dual-zone climate control system for the SLK is similar to that in the W210, the primary difference being that the system controls temperature at the air outlets only, since there is no in-car temperature sensor."
I was under the impression we did have a temp sensor and the temp control wheels set the cabin temp and not the air outlet temperature.

So, which is it?

I've never put in the recomened 6.5 Qts because the dipstick says it's full at 6.3 for me... but the manual does say 6.5 Qts of 0-W40.

Buellwinkle is around here somewhere I think.
I'll keep looking.
Edit
It was mentioned in this post earlier this year. It has popped up quite a few times.

I read the site on the supercharger - does this mean us SRT-6 owners have an engaging supercharger that shuts off when not needed? or is it always engaged?
