sprint booster
I'm guessing that the electronic throttle is transmitted by MiliAmps, just wondering if this is the case and if so then is the only thing the sprint booster is doing is boosting the MiliAmps wide open to make it appear that with just a little bit of throttle you are wide open, I would think this is the case because if this is what it is then it would explain why it gets rid of the learning curve
also if it is the case then the sprintbooster could be done for a lot cheaper than the 260 or 280 that everyone asks for it. |

well I guess it wasn't a observation so much as it was, does anyone know if i'm right or if i'm way off base on the subject

If all it does is step up voltage, a simple circuit could be used to shift the amplitude up a little bit. I have all the electronic test equipment necessary to test one. When I buy my A2, I will do this:
1. Use Multimeter and O-Scope to determine what the car's input into sprintbooster is. 2. Do the same on the sprintbooster's output. 3. Compare. Has anyone else done this? Oh, I'm not an Electrical Engineer or anything. I'm a Ground Radar Systems technician for the Air Force. I can "view" what the input and output signals are and determine, electrically, what a sprintbooster does to change the output to the throttle. |

It gets its power from one of the wires. All it can do is induct DC into the output signal. I'll let you know.
