Re: How To - Transmission Filter/Fluid Replace
Sorry, but a stupid question from a newbie.
Where do you check the transmission oil level? Where if the fitting to be removed and the oil level stick inserted? Thanks, Bilbob |
Re: How To - Transmission Filter/Fluid Replace
Here are a couple of videos.
You will need to buy a dipstick and a replacement red cap for the transmission tube cover. You'll see what I'm talking about in the videos. |

Thanks, Bilbob Your engine and transmission and most of your Crossfire is from Mercedes-Benz. Here's a tip that I learned from this forum. When searching for mechanical parts use 2003 Mercedes SLK 320. I own a Roadster with a manual transmission. In less than 10 minutes I now know more about automatic 5 speed 722.6 transmissions than I will ever need to know! LOL Here's another good place for info: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...s-repairs.html |
Re: How To - Transmission Filter/Fluid Replace
