Xfire won't "stay alive"
Hi everyone
I've got a wonderful WE with no problem with my Xfire Roadster. I make around 200 Km (90 Miles) across the countryside up-down the hill...32 degrees... FANTASTIC! Monday morning no way! The car wont stay alive... the engine start up, but just after few seconds running it goes off. Any time i try to start up the engine the car goes off after 5 sec run. The fuel is ok and even the pump seems to work fine at right pressure... NO engine errors appear too. Has anyone experience this problem? Seems to be the intake air flow sensor become crazy.... Please advise. Thanx alot |

Re: Xfire won't "stay alive"
OK guys got the solution!
Something very wired. After a sets of cross checking we discover the problem at the fuel pump.. Basically after few seconds work the pump get "hot and hot" up to reduce the fuel pressure to zero. Replacement of pump and filter solve the problem. Hope can help. Bye Aldo |
