Default A little something I found

I found this list of how-to for the SLK and some of them will work on the crossfire like the dead pedal. Link

Did you mount it the same as him, and do you have any pics?

I made a similar bracket and got the ford pedal from summit online. I'll try to remember to take some pics.

Someone needs to make up that kit for us so we can just order it all in one shot. That looks really good and is another item that should've come on the car from the factory.

i mounted it pretty differently than what was posted. i pulled back the carpet and mounted two L-brackets to the plastic "dead pedal" thats there already, then cut through the carpet and bolted it all together. the pedal is actually upside down, so the plastic 'strap' with the two mounting holes is bent back and mounted to the floor as well. i can explain further if anyone's having trouble mounting theirs.

it looks a little cockeyed in the picture. i hope its the angle of the shot; now i have to double check.

It looks good. How sturdy is it? The way they talked about it in the link, it sounded like it was going to be very solid.

You wouldn't have a part number for the pedal would you? Does it match the other pedals perfectly?

the dead pedal is actually the accelerator pedal (installed upside down in my pic). the part number is in the previous link given in post #1. $19 and change from the MB dealer IIRC.

[edit] found it in the link: Part No. A 170 300 00 04

Mine is a ford part, found it in the summit catalog. It matches but the black circles go from little to big where the crossfire ones are the same size. I think it was like $16.

Cool site.
The boost gauge info caught my eye.
Anyone know what level of boost the SRT makes and what the pulley kit bumps it up to??

Maybe I've been away from my car too long, but I believe my came with one from the dealer? I'll have to check that out when I get off the road for Thanksgiving.
