Default Airfreshner

Maybe the people I bought the car from got a bit keen with the air freshening spray. Either that, or there is a smelly block in the car somewhere which I can’t find.

It smells. It's not an unpleasant smell, but my other half can find it rather overbearing, especially if it's been left for a couple of days. Is there a hidy hole for such things?

This came up a short time ago. try removing youe cabin air filter and give it the nose test. It might have been "spritzed" with deodorant or the like. If that doesn't work, spray somthing you DO like on it and put it back in to cover the other aroma up.

Not sure about the air freshener but love the avatar and user name! A Dr Who fan I presume?

Hi John

Its just under the glove box. Undo the two screws in the black cover with holes in it. Take this away and you will see the bottom of a box with two sliding clips. Slide the two fix clips away from each other and the lid will drop down. The filter is in there. It might need a bit of a pull to get it out.
