3rd Xfire Meet - Photos!
Hi all,
I’ve posted a gallery of my photos here. I’ve hidden number plates.
Photos were taken with a 10mm-22mm wide angle lens, for those who are interested.
Enjoy.

Hi Paul, Great pictures posted on your gallery. Glad you managed to make the third meet and lookforward to seeing you both at the next.
Cheers
Ken.

Ken.
Ken,
I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye on Sunday - standing in the sun was taking its toll, so I was in the shade with Amanda for a bit - we saw you driving off so we waved.
Anyway, good to meet every one.

Hi,
we had 10 in total - another thread gives more information on who attended and their cars. That thread is here…
It was a great weekend - Derbyshire has some stunning scenery to look at, and drive through, and a good time was had by all who attended on Sunday by all accounts.

I was hoping to get a group shot, but people started leaving earlier than I expected. Next time, maybe.
Missed this one All.
Hi,
We bought an 05 Black Crossfire Roadster for my wife Susan several months back but I have only just found this thread on CrossfireForum.org.
Looking at your photo's it looks like you had a good time and I am interested in going on a run or meeting up with other UK Crossfire owners. We used to have a Mini Cooper S Convertible and we have been to France twice and on several UK runs, It's great fun.
How do I find out when the next run is?
We live in West Yorkshire; the Derby run would have been spot on.
Ps, can't do Saturdays because we look after elderly parents.
Cheers,
Alan & Sue.

Hi Alen & Sue,
Andy (Zero Zero) has said it all. Welcome to the best xfire site on the net. Steve (Steve_UK) arranged the last meet and we all had a fantastic time.
Read all the past posts and you will have a good idea of how things work. There is a PT Crusier meet at Northampton and two Xfire owners have confirmed attendance so far( Andy & Me) one on Saturday and one on Sunday, all details are listed.
Cheers
Ken & Jane

We live in Staincliffe near Dewsbury.
Had a chat with Sue already about the meeting on Sunday and she is not interested. However, I have a mate who has been to watch the odd hill climb, to a few race meetings and been around a few museums with me, he may be interested and we are out for a meal with him and his wife tonight (Wednesday) so I will ask him.
From the posts I see that the PT Cruiser gang will be attending, how can I find out what other cars will be involved. Will our cars just be sat in the car park or can we also get involved. Sorry to be so dumb but I have not attended an event like this before.
Alan.

Hi Alan
The Meeting at Billing is the 8th annual Picnic in the Park of UK Cruisers (the national PT Cruiser owners club) so cars in attendance will be mainly PTs. The organisers (of which I was one until very recently) have always welcomed attendance by owners of other MOPAR models, and some previous years have seen a handful of Vipers and Crossfires show up. As a result, I've been told that we are more than welcome, and of course can take part in anything going on. The event takes place in one of the show fields and we will be parking up with the PTs (in other words, we won't be kept in the car park).
Hope that helps. Let me know if you need further info.
Cheers
Chris

Well thats a coincidence, When first got married I used to live on Healds Rd near juntion of Halifax Rd in the late 1970's before moving to Ossett, and then back to home city of York. Now down at Newark Notts. Small world eh'
So I know the area well, but not been back there for a long time - good memories though! We must have a natter when we get a chance
Cheers for now
Steve
Hi again all,
Just been out with my mate and his wife and he is up for the event so I can now confirm that we will both be attending on Sunday the 10th, good times!
I don't know if we intend to park in the same area so I will PM lissxf, Steve - UK, ZeroZero and UK Ken with my mobile number, perhaps someone who is there on Saturday could let me know the arrangements. It would be nice if the Xfires were grouped together?

Good to hear you can make it Alan. Parking up together is certainly the intention and I'll sort that out on both days...it won't be a problem as there's plenty of space in the field. More details are posted in the other thread:

Got your pm thanks...I'll respond with my details a bit later...off to work now. If anyone else attending could send me their details as well, that would be great and I'll do the same by return. Cheers.
