www.solent-renegades.co.uk are haveing their summer car show on Sunday 17th Auguest. A real mix of American and other makes of vehicle's. I'm a club member and speaking to Steve our chairman he said that Xfire's and their owners are more than welcome to attend. We can have our own space for showing our cars . I attended last years show and there was a very large turnout of vehicle's and public.


There will be motor related stands, food bars and ample toilets located around the show grounds and prizes for the best cars in their class. ( I won a cup showing the Xfire at a similer show last year) If interested in attending I'm happy to help in anyway I can.

Should you want to stay over the Saturday or Sunday there is ample accommocation locally..B&B, Holiday Inns, Holiday Express, Premiere Lodge's and much more.

If arriveing Saturday, there are a lot of interesting places to visit. I'm happy if interest is shown to arranging a drive to the New Forest in the afternoon and meet for in the evening for drinks or a meal.


I suggest you check out the Renegades site and events. Their a friendly bunch of folks and love their cars. Let me know if your interested in attending and I will forward meet locations etc.

Another one I can't make ! Off to Corfu on the Monday after, as we have children of school age have to squeeze a lot in during July/August. The events seem to be coming along at a pace now, feels this UK group has changed up a gear ( excuse the pun ! ).

Sorry - I'll have been back after a long drive home the previous day and I'll be wanting to take the rest of the weekend easy. August is a pretty full month for me anyway.

 

This is practically on my doorstep but I can't make it as I'm entered for a half marathon near Slough that morning. Depending on when I get back home, I may drive down for a look in the afternoon. Do you know the start and finish times?

 

Start times 10am to 4pm for public. Show car's 8.30 onwards.

Dont think I can get down for Portsmouth Meet, but very hopefull for Billing Aquadrome PT Cruiser meet on the Sunday - dont forget the picnic hamper!. Also, woody will be cruising down there as well if he is back from Europe in time. Any thoughts about something for Sept ? Would be good to get one more in before the end of the summer!

Hi Dave, Good news you can make it, and a great Xfire SRT's are a bit special. Address of car show. I suggest you arrive around 9am lasted as public are in at 10am and show cars will need time setting up. I will P/M you my mobile number so we can touch base if need be.
