Auto stick MB knob
Xup..I have one fitted. Go to any main Merc dealer...its from an earlier SLK 320. I was shown a list of gear ***** and the prices..not cheap..I recall some where around £65 ish + vat...but it looks great and feels good .. and matches in well, I think its a good improvment on the original. I will post a picture later. Will check and see if I still have receipt with the part number..

Im not in the UK but work at a MBUSA dealership..... any shift **** from a 170, 220, 129 and 202 without keyless go will fit. I have a gray leather **** from a 220 and it matches the steering wheel in my SRT6 perfect.
Parted number not needed.
See my earlier post 9.9.2008 on locating MB Gear ****.
Removing..There are two section to the Xfire gear ****..At the bottom of the gear ****...Hold tight with one hand and with the other unscrew the very bottom section..may be a bit tight, but it will unscrew...DO NOT use grips or will damage base and then be unble to replace it in the future..
If you still having problems then enter "MB Gear ****" in Search for more help and suggestions..
Ken.
PS..Replacing with MB **** is easy. Its just a push on ..be gentle and take your time..
