UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
Looking to purchase an SRT6 and have viewed two..both roadsters. Listed mine on ebay yesterday including unique reg number and a few spares.
Unless I get asking price or very close I will not sell...and forego the pleasure of having an SRT6. If interested in purchasing my baby (car not Jane) then do contact me via PM. Hopeful UkKen.:p |

Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
Andy
Ideally I would like a black Coupe..not a Roadster, but so far I have onlly seen Roadsters for sale. Will keep looking for an SRT6 Coupe and deside on colour as and when, condition and mileage is more important to me than colour. UKKen. |

Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
:D Hi All.. As mentioned earlier I'm looking to upgrade to an SRT6. currently I have only seen Roadster's for sale and I want a Coupe.
Do keep an open and if you spot one for sale, anywhere in the UK please let me know. I'm relectent to sell my Crossfire until I locate a replacment. The ebay sale ends on the 20th June. Cheers Ken. |
Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
:p Should add...only real reason it needs to be a Coupe...is to accommodate Janes luggage..need I say more!

Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
Located a Coupe SRT6...one owner Silver Blue..mid 2007..but down side is the cost a fiver short of £15.000 and hight mileage of 32K....so still looking.
Have an interested buyer for my crossfire...but not parting with it until I find the right SRT6 Will keep you posted UKKen. |
Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
Personally, I always thought the roadster spoilt the lines of the crossfire, in both base and SRT-6 versions. I always thought the coupe looks so much better. Anyway, I prefer aircon to an open top. We have had a few days of warm weather the last few weeks in the UK, and I see all the convertables out in force. Roof off, windows up, hats on (on sun-burnt bald heads) scarfs (for the ladies), coats and heater on. What's the point? I think its a bit like the stupid sidelights on Audi. I have these stupid lights so I will switch them on, even in bright sunshine. Moan over:)

Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
Think I have to agree with Dave - The Roadster looks great with the roof up, but, to me, looses its looks with it down. I reckon the car was originally designed as a coupe and the best view of the body shape is from the rear, and this is lost on the roadster.
If I could find a newish Red SRT Coupe with low miles, I would have to buy it, but none seem to exist - but a Red SRT Roadster version might pop up sometime, somewhere? If not I may have to import one! |
Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
SRT's are not available in red...

The colour/spec choice was restricted and the range of colours available in USA was wider than Europe, we never got the Oyster or White, but there are one or two Yellow roadsters here. though very rare. Also, never seen a Yellow coupe - that would nice! |
Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
Hi DaveMe
I think the Audi daytime running lights come on as soon as you start the engine & like Volvo's you can not switch them off that the point , Have you not seen all the bikers running around all day with there lights on , I know they can blind you but you know they are there , anyway this is so off topic its not getting Ken-Uk's Srt 6 sorted . Cheers Andy ( Angel Eyed Bald burn head with Sun glasses & Hat with Scarf , ohh hang on i got a coupe switch the air con on ) ;) . |
Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
UKKen is no longer looking to up grade to a SRT6..can't find what i'm looking for, a low mileage Coupe in black.
I read an add for a standard Crossfire recently and the owner stated that it was easy on fuel, around 36 mpg!!!!...I wish I knew how he worked that out...or perhaps it was a tiny fib to encourage buyers. UKKen :p |
Re: UKKen's Crossfire for sale.
whats with all this negative energy towards us "topless" Crossfires ;) There is nothing better than after a hard days work strolling out into the car park in this glorious sunshine, put the roof down, turn the radio up ( planet rock of course ) a flick of the throttle, head out into the lanes heading home. The sounds of the exhaust reverberating off the walls of a bridge ( sounds better with the top down ) , wind in my hair, the odd bird song breaking throuigh, that blonde smiling at me at the traffic lights in her topless Merc.... sorry getting carried away now, possibly my imagination getting in the way of accurate recall from memory.... at my age .....
And anyway it looks great with the top down as well :D P.S. I am also on the lookout for an SRT, Roadster of course !! |
