Default Help needed please...

I am still on the look out for a pair of headlights!

I need help to remove the headlights as the damaged one is now filling with condensation. I have removed the obvious fixings but it still wont move I dont want to pull or twist just in case.

If anyone knows the method of removal and would be willing to pass it on to me i would be very greatful

Hi Feb11

Have you loosed the front wing to bumper bolts (two bolts)from under the wheel arch & there are two blots under the adjusters , its a very close fit trying to remove lamp from front of car .

Cheers

Andy

p.s. try doing a search within the forum , i'm sure there is a old thread posted.

Thanks Andy, found a full workshop manual download and plenty of info on how DEFICULT they are to remove.

Hi Mo

Cool . I just lifted one side up & when in thro' the wheelarch , I think you can leave the wheel on & just peel back the wheelarch liner , But please when to pull the lamp out make sure you keep an eye on the top edge of the bumper as you could damage the bumper ( i hate to hear about men crying & trying to kick themself at the same time ) , And yea its a very tight fit around the lamp to bumper/front wing , you need to pull & twist , When you get hold of your replacement lamp it a good idea to measure the adjuster to plastic casing on the bottom of the lamp & make them the same , So your lights will not be set too high , its just easier making them the same before you load the light back on to the car . Should only take about 3/4 hour to remove the lamp

Hope this helps

Andy ( Xfire gone but not forgotten )
