Wire Wheels...
A question...Various changes in wheel size and design have been applied and fitted to our crossfires by their owners.
Has anyone seen or fitted sports spoked wheels? Before you ask, no, I'm not heading down that route, just a question. UKKen:cool: and cold in the UK.. |

Re: Wire Wheels..
I despised the wire wheels on my MG, Norton and all other machines. Nothing but poor performance and problems. I put Lester alloys on my Moto Guzzi G5. I Never looked back. Gary

I would think there are steel wheels that would fit your MG!..not all of them were supplied with spoked wheels. UKKen:) |

UKKen:) MGB's came standard with Rostyle Steel whells, and could be converted to wire wheels. This needs the hubs from the MGC which did come with wires as standard. The wires can be cleaned easily with a good long bristled brush but it is time consuming! Wire wheels are as strong as steel wheels if in good nick, but need looking after more!:p |
