Default Brakes: discs and pads

So MOT due in less than a month and after getting my hard earned money together for all around falkens the brake light just came on !
Decided to take it to kwikfit for a free check, result: front discs under 26mm and rear ones not lot left on them either. Pads are worn out which triggered the light.
Now I've been through a lot of threads on here to see who recommends what discs and pads wise but ain't found nothing.
American forum recommend rotex gold but impossible to find over here !
So what are your thoughts on:

-Front and rear Brembo MAX discs (£120 in total)
-Mintex pads ( used to have them on my old Hyundai coupe but hated the squeaking) but they're cheap
- EBC red stuff , dust free, fairly expensive and a loooong break-in (1000 miles!!!! They say !!!!).
What have u guys got on?
Still can't believe kwikfit wanted £350 for all round discs and pads!!! More like KwikTheft to me lol

Thanks

Good old mtecs lol they rust like f*** I used to have them (drilled and grooved) paired with the Mintex pads on my Hyundai coupe... The old saying still stands true... You get what you pay for lol plus, to be fair any pads and Brembo discs would be roughly £200 same as mtec so I'd rather go for the black non rust Brembo max discs ( if they any good, has anyone got them ?)
Falkens 275/35/19 96Y £155 each from clickonTyres.com , haven't bought them yet just waiting for pay day to buy the whole lot together.
if you manage to find cheaper for the falkens give us a shout mate.
Anyone on pads advice pleeeeaaase

I have had the wheels off today and the front are near enough to be changed, and will be using Red Stuff again mainly as they are low dust but they do stop well

Change of plan, after taking advice, going to put Yellow stuff pads on, apparently vertually dust free and a bit more road friendly compared to Red, don't need as much warm up time

Mintex are sposed to be a good alternative to yellow stuff but apparently you don't get the same sort of mileage.
