A couple of bits of metal and plastic came off from somewhere behind the clutch pedal the other week. Car's currently in a garage and the faulty part has been identified, but apparently is not available in the UK and they can't find it in Europe/USA either. (Not fully clear what the name of the part is.) I think the issue isn't helped by the fact that the part is specific to the manual crossfire, whereas most crossfires are autos. Garage is looking into whether there's anything equivalent on the old Merc SLK, but failing that, whether they can do some kind of welding job or build a replacement part.


Anyone know of a good source for scrap crossfires / parts in the UK, ideally near London? Would rather get an exact replacement off another vehicle.
