Re: Size of post
I have notified the admins of Internet Brands owners and got this response
ill talk with techies and they may just need to rebuild the thread data to make sure it doesn't have problems when edited.
My reply to this .....
OK Thanks
This thread is VERY IMPORTANT to never lose as it contains tons of data that is crucial to all Crossfire Owners and has been built for many years by the user who created the thread !!!!
Further response from Internet Brands...
I made sure to save a backup until they can take a look at it

I lost it once if you remember, it was recovered at that time by IB but some data was lost as the saved version was a bit old.
I have all the PDF files on my computer but not the ones that are forum links. If it was all lost I could not be bothered to rebuild it from scratch.

Re: Size of post
If you must split it, could I suggest two posts:
1) Engine, drive train - including engine, transmission, chassis, brakes, suspension
2) Body - Body, top, trim, lighting, seat heater/motor repairs, etc.
THe first post would, I guess, still be probably a lot larger than the second but I'd think it would take enough away to resolve the issue.
Or maybe:
1) Engine, drive train - including engine, transmission and rear end
2) Body - Body, top, trim, lighting, seat heater/motor repairs, chassis, brakes, suspension
I've had to LOOK and LOOK to find the entry I want - but it's still a link I keep on my computer for quick reference. A LOT of information in a VERY small space there.
