I just looked at the Google map for members going to the Crossfires Across America event this coming June.

It looks like it is just me on the West Coast I believe Laitsabr sold his Crossfire.

The rest of the country will have great representation....How about us

There are three cars coming from AZ, and even though I'm only driving from Indiana, I'm still an Arizona resident and have those cacti on my license plate. That's got to be representation!!!! I'll see you guys in June. The midwest was talking about a hospitality room, and I'm sure you'll be welcome. If they don't, I'm still bringing a bottle of Single Malt with me.

Thanks for the notice, it wasn't meant for those of you from AZ. I want to meet up with you on the way. I was talking mainly CA and specifically SoCal.

We have lots of cars, but it can be difficult to get together. I would have thought there would be at least a few who wanted to do this. Just hope it isn't wishful thinking......

 

I joined bought the car and joined the Forum while I was in Indiana working on Duke Energy projects. It looks like I will complete them (I've been on three in Indiana since 2004) next year, and am looking forward to spending some time after the first of next year at home in Munds Park AZ. Hopefully, I will get to meet some of the Forum members from the Southwest next June. PM me if you guys and gals plan to have some kind of Southwest function in St. Louis.

I would love to go, but I don't think I can get the time off work and, quite frankly, it's an expense that I can't really shoulder at the moment.

I never realized how many crickets we have in SoCal.....

 

I have the same situation as Mike in that I don't think I can get the time off from work. And yes, it is a bit of an expense. Finally, I may have to use a good chunk of my vacation to make up for lost wages while on jury duty.

In spite of all that, what is the absolute latest date before we have to give a yea or nay on attending?

 

This is the first I've heard of a "Crossfires Across America" event...............and I still don't know exactly where/when it is being held. That may be why you are the only one on the West coast that is attending...............you're the only one that knows about it.

WOW, I just browsed the first page and that looks to be a huge event. Sadly I cannot make it due to work, buying a house................and using this years vacation to go on my honeymoon.

I went ahead and signed up but haven't booked the hotel yet. It's still up in the air as to whether we'll make it or not but I can't stop thinking about it.

We're in Norcal but maybe we could meet up before Arizona.

Allrighty then, booked a Harrah's room for my son and I arriving 6-21, checkout 6-25.
Did some playing around with google maps, only adds a couple hundred miles to come south before heading east. Would be great to have a few more XF's leaving socal together
