Powder Coating

I was thinking on chroming my wheels but was advised that living close to the ocean would really hurt them. Told to consider powder coating or painting with endura. Anyone have experience with either?

Thanks,
Tennor

Re: Powder Coating

My local wheel shop told me about this place. Not sure if anyone has heard or used them before.

You can chrome them, as long as you look after the chrome everyday.
As for powder coating, the rims already are powder coated, unless you want to change the color, I see no reason for it.

Re: Powder Coating

i use to work in a powder coating shop here in new hampshire (powder coating alternatives). we had a few "chrome" colors but one in particular SUPER CHROME ACTUALLY LOOKS REALLY GOOD and when clear coated after held up really well. i wouldn't recommend this powder coating shop any more (owner is a piece of work) but there are a few other in the area that are not advertised that i could get in contact with for forum members if they where interested.
