How To Install Koni Shocks
I did a search and couldn't find anything.
Does anyone have any advice on how to do this?
And what are the proper torque settings are?
I plan one doing the install next weekend.

this is something i did in my garage with simple tools... the original instructions are included in the factory koni boxes ... as well as a diagram (showing piece by piece - in layers of components/parts for proper install) ...
the shocks are currently adjusted for the best ride & rebound imo... but can always be adjusted further to your liking...
please call me if needed... (i can provide you with any additional details)...
cheers!
I thought it was that easy...
When I was cleaning out all the glass in my trunk I removed the side carpets and noticed just one bolt on top and when I went underneath there was one more bolt.
The only question I have is on the front there is a cover over the top bolt do I just pull it off? I don't want to have to drive to the dealer to buy a stupid cover if I break it.
You think I can do it without removing the wheels?!
Thanks Andrew!

The black cover on the front shocks will pull right off - no tools required.
#17 wrench for the nut and a #6 or small crescent wrench for the shaft (to keep from spinning) for the OEM shocks, not sure of the Koni's.
Tighten until good and tight. It will be easier with the wheels off. Did my left front Sat - so still fresh in my mind.
Good luck with the Koni's.

i did not remove my wheels when installing shocks ... but would probably make it easier... but still not too bad doing the install with them on.
ps - i shipped the shocks out on wednesday morning.

Thanks Brian and Andrew your help is much appreciated! I'll be sure and post back how it went.
Well I installed them last night and tuned them to my liking this morning. I have to say it's by far the best mod I've done to date! Thanks to the adjustability of the shocks now I feel I have more say in what I want from the car when I want it. The car is less jumpy and I find myself going 5-10 mph faster with it close to the softest setting.
(Fronts are 105 degrees and the rears are about 90-95 degrees).
With the Koni Shocks the Steel Brake Lines and the SB it feels much more like a sports car.
Thanks again andrew, you have no idea how happy I am.
Tools:
Jack
17m, 16m, 10m, socket(s)
A round metal file (get one for a drill if you don't have one, you'll save your self about 30-45 mins)
Flat Head Screwdriver
Adjustable Wrench (2)

Oh by the way I was going to I try your setting but somewhere along the way I forgot and started spinning the adjuster for fun.
