Bridgestone RE960 Pole Positions
Bridgestone RE960 Pole Positions
I just tried a set of these all seasons using stock front size and 275/30-19's rears. Mounted on stock wheels on my SRT-6. A very nice all year street tire! I'm pretty impressed so far.
The rears work out to be 25.6" diameter, or about 1.5% less than stock. No issues with that -- it keeps a half inch stagger versus the front and the slight effective change in gearing is at least in the right direction. The extra width on the back is a good look on the car too. Still breaking them in, but I have yet to see the traction control light come on with these tires.
Ride comfort is a little better than the stock Michellins. It did take 3 guys at the tire place to wrestle those 30 series rears onto the 9" rims, but 9" rim width is considered by Bridgestone acceptable. The installer agreed. As a plus the tires come with one of the better mfr warrantees out there (40k miles).
